About me

Howdy, my name is Yuntao Ou. Currently I live in Melbourne, Australia. Previously I worked for AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) in Boston, Massachusetts for 2 years. I worked in DevTools team and contributed in ROCm-GDB project.

I graduated on May 2014 with Computing MS degree from University of Utah. I have worked on a fluid simulation project with SPH(Smooth-Particle-Hydrodynamics). My adviser was Cem Yuksel. I received my Bachelor degree of Software Engineering from South China University of Technology in June 2012.

I have also been in the Entertainment Arts and Engineering: Mater Game Studio (EAE: MGS) program from fall 2012 to spring 2013. There was a lot of fun doing game development in EAE. However, I am more enthusiasm in programming, while EAE is more artistic (such as game design, not programming hard), so I switched to Digital Media program with Computer Graphics emphasis in School of Computing in University of Utah.

My interested area is computer graphics, game engineering, software development, and stupid-many kinds of sports ( Tae-Kwon-Do, badminton, soccer, swimming, blah blah blah…).
